Welcome to the Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency

Attracting foreign investments, especially in targeted sectors, is one of the main policy priorities of the Cyprus Government. Recently, the Council of Ministers has decided for the establishment of the Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency (CIPA), adopting a more effective institutional framework for investment promotion.

The newly established non-profit private limited company, with the Government being the sole member, will contribute dynamically and flexibly to the effective promotion of Cyprus as an international investment and business centre as well as to the infusion of foreign investments in the targeted sectors by positioning Cyprus ‘on the radar screen’ as a competitive regional hub for a wide range of targeted sectors.

CIPA will fulfill a policy advocacy role by placing special focus on the Government's strategic priorities and in such other fields which may be deemed essential for the upgrading and enrichment of the productive fabric’s competitiveness. Finally, its institutional framework and operational structure enables the Government to adopt flexible procedures and methodologies in order to effectively respond to the rapidly changing demands and challenges
