Kyriacos Kakouris

Kyriacos Kakouris is a Senior Economic Officer in the Finance and Investment Division at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Cyprus since 1993. He heads up the International Finance Institutions Section, FDI policy, External Debt Management, Project Financing from IFIs and commercial sources and government owned entities. Between 1990 and 1993, Kyriacos was an Administrative Officer at the Public Administration and Personnel Department of the Ministry of Finance, whereas previously he was an Economic Officer at the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Mr. Kakouris is a member of the Board of Directors of the European Investment Bank; a substitute member of the Administrative Council of the Council of Europe Development Bank; a member of the Board of Directors of Cyprus Airways (Duty Free Shops) Ltd.; a member of the Board of Cyprus Immovable Property Company Ltd and a Deputy for Cyprus at the International Development Association. Mr. Kakouris holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Athens and a Master of Arts in Economics from Lakehead University in Ontario, Canada.
