1. The Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency (CIPA) Website
1.1 The Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency (hereafter CIPA) established in 2007 after a decision of the Council of Ministers of the Government of Cyprus.  The Government of Cyprus is the sole partner of CIPA.  The www.cipa.org.cy belongs and manages by CIPA, which it supports and promotes Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Cyprus, encourages further investment in Cyprus by existing investors and advices the Government of Cyprus on how to develop and modify rules and regulation on the Cyprus’ business, investment and entrepreneurial field.

2.1 The access and use of www.cipa.org.cy and all of its WebPages (hereafter may be called as Website) constitutes the acceptance of these terms and conditions which are taking effect from the date and time the visitor first log on this Website.

5. Virus Protection Policy
5.1 CIPA is continuously put any possible effort in order to maintain this Website free of virus.  However, it is advisable for visitors to run fully updated anti-virus programs upon entering this Website for their protection.  CIPA will never accept at any stage any responsibility for any loss, disruption or damage to visitor’s data or computer system which may occur while visiting and/or using this Website or any of its links.

6. Personal Data Policy
6.1 The Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency and its Website are fully complying with the Cyprus Law for the Handle and Protection of Personal Data as well as the relevant European Directive 95/46/EC.  Visitors of this Website understand that CIPA periodically might collect personal data for statistical purposes.

6.2 Visitors might opt to submit knowingly and willfully their personal data to this Website.  Visitor agrees that the personal data which is being collected by CIPA under their consent is going to be used for:

• The promotion of Foreign Direct Investment to Cyprus
• The encouragement for further investment by existing investors in Cyprus
• Consultation purposes to the Government of Cyprus on investment, business and entrepreneurial issues
• Marketing and electronic newsletter purposes about CIPA
• Sending periodically informative emails on investment issues
• Sending periodically questionnaires  that you are not oblige to answer
• Contact you directly over the phone on issues relevant to investment, business or entrepreneurial matters

6.3 Visitors who wish to update their personal information should log on www.cipa.org.cy and follow the relevant instruction.

6.4 Visitors who do not wish to receive any communication from CIPA as above-mentioned; they should send an email at info@cipa.org.cy stating clearly their wish not to receive any communication from CIPA.

6.5 CIPA will not disclose visitor’s personal data unless there is a clear consent from the visitor which allows CIPA to do so.

7. Cookies Policy
7.1 Visitors understand and agree that when they log on CIPA’s Website some information is stored on their computer known as cookies.  This procedure allows CIPA to tailor made some changes on its Website which will make visitor’s browser faster when re-enter CIPA’s Website.
