Sotiris Sotiriou

Sotiris Sotiriou is the Secretary of the Board and the Director General of the Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency (CIPA). Most recently, Mr. Sotiriou was the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health and prior to that, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry & Tourism. He began his career at the Ministry of Labor. During his 30 years career in the government, Mr. Sotiriou has been responsible for several key initiatives in the health, commerce and labor sectors and has been a member and chairman of numerous decision making bodies. Mr. Sotiriou holds a Diploma in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, a Masters in Public Sector Management of the Cyprus International Institute of Management (CIIM) and a Postgraduate Diploma of the Aston University, UK, in Occupational Safety and Health.
