George Lakkotrypis

George Lakkotrypis is the Microsoft Country Manager for Cyprus since 2003. He joined Microsoft as Business Development Manager for Cyprus & Malta in 2002, with a directive to develop the markets in these two countries. Before joining Microsoft, he worked for IBM in Cyprus for six years, holding consecutively the positions of Channel Partner Account Manager and SMB Account Manager. Previously George also worked as a developer for an ISV in Denver, Colorado and as a network administrator for a construction company in Benghazi, Libya. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Keele, England and MBA from the University of Colorado. Mr. Lakkotrypis is a Fulbright Scholar.
